​What is GAPS? ​
GAPS, Graduate Apprenticeship Program, is a scheme funded under Dana Sumber Manusia, Government of Brunei Darussalam, which aims to provide graduates (of HND & Above qualifications) relevant hands-on work experience making them more competent and marketable in the future.​ ​ ​

Objectives​ ​ ​
The Apprenticeship Scheme will run for a period of 12-months which aims:
  • To provide a real-job experience for our unemployed graduates to enhance their employability skills and making them more marketable in the near future
  • To facilitate our graduates in being hired by private sectors by the end of the scheme
  • If necessary, provide relevant trainings before and during the Apprenticeship period​ ​ ​

Target Group​ ​ ​
  • Citizens and permanent residents of Brunei Darussalam
  • Graduates with qualifications of HND and Above
  • Graduates who are unemployed for at least 6 months
  • Graduates who are registered with the APTK ​ ​ ​

Incentives​ ​ ​
​No   Incentives   Amount  Review
​1​Monthly Allowance    $500
Apprentice will have to contribute to TAP & SCP
​2​Monthly Transportation Allowance    $ 50    -
​3​Training    -    Funded by the government

How to Apply?​ ​
​When is the Opening?

We recently have closed the registration for the Apprenticeship in the Accounting Sector and for your information the next registration for this sector would be around early December 2016.

In the near future, JPKE is hoping to expand its Apprenticeship to other sectors. Therefore, in the mean time, keep yourself registered with, so that you can just easily click ‘Apply’ when other sectors of Apprenticeships are open for registration.
